Student Hands-On Training II Workshop, Boulder, CO, Summer 2006. Launch of high-altitude balloon number 2, carrying the payloads of several schools in AFRL's Nanosat-4 competition, including Washington University in St. Louis. WashU's payload weighed under 6kg and simulated the imaging and communications system of the Akoya-Bandit nanosatellite. This balloon hit 100,000 feet - 20 miles up to the edge of space!
"Run, George, run!"
