The Laugh Heard Round the World: Chinese Laugh at Geithner's Reassurances on US Dollar and Economy
"Chinese assets are very safe," Geithner said in response to a question after a speech at Peking University, where he studied Chinese as a student in the 1980s.
His answer drew loud laughter from his student audience, reflecting scepticism in China about the wisdom of a developing country accumulating a vast stockpile of foreign reserves instead of spending the money to raise living standards at home.

I was in japan. They showed the laughter for 3 days on prime time tv news. In the US, nada, not a word about it.

I saw the movie the money masters, gold is the reserve currency of the bankers, it only holds value because the people in good faith believe it has value, however if the people refuse to except gold as money it is worthless, the bankers can manipulate the quantity of gold and that is why they like it, simply because they own a very large percentage of it, sorry but the world is on to this game, and that is what occupy is truly about, stopping people like you from raping our families.

There is one think that I try to get an answer, America portrait itself as the champion of the Democracy, with "free press" they "vote" every year to elect they leader.....but the government keep doing things they don't like it, like throwing away trillion of dollars in wars, and killing their own boys and girls; why they allow their government to give huge tax cut to the rich and bail out powerful financial institution? they caused this financial crisis.... somebody explain that?
