These are all authentic and original and the newest ones are from World War Two. The first 4 came from Asia and seem to be the oldest. I would guess they were made in the 1700's or early 1800's.
Top row are all brass, bronze, and copper. Bottom row are mostly iron, with lead and aluminum at the end. Many of them, especially on the bottom row, were found by metal detecting and dug up from the ground at various Civil War sites. About half in the video were used during or before the American Civil War(1861-1865).
Several others came from the UK and Europe. The last one marked "USMC" for United States Marine Corps was custom made during WWII and carried by a US Marine, it still has its original leather sheath and both show lots of wear.
It has taken nearly 15 years to get all these.

  • Odd question but what IS the source of the music? Love the knuckles by the way! The USMC one made me chuckle...oddest looking one of the bunch.

  • @foreversniper00

I found the audio on youtube's Audioswap. I think it was called "Spirit of the Dead" but I forgot who made it. Those USMC knuckles are a favorite of mine, they were definitely carried and used quite a bit.

  • i have found 1 made out of aluminium on a ww2 battlefield.

still have no idea where it is from...

  • @boddeus
