Guam-The Guam International Airport Authority is celebrating its most recent investment in upgrading its facilities and services. This morning, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to announce the completion of the new International Transfer Facility (ITF). The 4.95 million dollar project will now serve as hub to screen all international luggage leaving and coming into the island. Executive Manager Carlos Salas says the project was done through with the help of the FAA & TSA.
Salas also says the new transfer facility reduces the labor intensive efforts being done by ground handlers over the last several years.
Instead of expanding the airport, hire people who are more professional. A younger TSA employee cares more about my shoes than what's in my luggage is laughable.
