Historically and language wise, the Lurs are considered nomadic Persian people, and their language is a branch of the Persian language, However there are 4 kinds of Lori people. The Laki and Feyli are perhaps the Kurdish related Lors and the Bakhtiari & Mamasani Lors are actually Persians. And believe it or not but i've actually spoken to both Qashqhais and Lors in Iran. However it doesn't really matter, were all Iranic after all, that is a fact.

For me the Lors have always been Kurds because of their history and their culture.

I dont see any difference between us.

@MelodyOfKurdistan The most people that you talk about, are not really Lors, they are persian immigrants to Lorstan and settlers who claim that they are Lors just because they live there and it is a part of persians propaganda to separate us from the kurdish nation. The pure Lors always consider themselves Kurds. Ema Lorem kore Kurdem.

Dear friend I also share your opinion but the most Lor people I know consider themself as lorish people and they love the Kurds and even some as you consider themself as Kurds.

But I have to respect their wish and thats why I dont put them into the great kurdish family.
