There is more talent and brilliance on that couch from, what, 40 years ago, than the combined past 2 decades of trash on TV. I grew up watching this show. Always wanted to be married to Dick Van Dyke and have Tim Conway as my round headed brother.

OH it's edited-- Look how many times peoples' lips are blurred out. Lawrence especially must've been mutter-swearing like a sailor all the way thru.

This is pretty much one of the funniest moments I have ever seen. There is nothing better than watching professional comedians lose it on Live TV. What a treasure this show was, though I only saw them in re-runs. Good clean humor. Would be a nice breath of fresh air to see this kind of variety show back on Prime Time.

Tim actually was a semi regular for the first 7-8 years, appearing around twice a month and sometimes three times a month. Finally, after Lyle left, Carol decided that since he was on so much anyway, they asked him to become a full cast member

This is from the last season of the show. Harvey had left to appear on his own show on ABC. Dick Van Dyke stepped in to become a regular, but I don't think that he made it through the whole season. Lyle was on until 1973 or so before going to do Wonder Woman.
