Hajime No Ippo: The Abridged Series Ep. 1

So here it is, my attempt at Hajime No Ippo. I know this one is a little bit long. Okay, a lot too long. But bad grammar aside, if I continue with the series I'll be sure to make all later episodes much shorter. I hope you enjoy it.

The jokes seem promising and the quality is high overall, but the voices all sound the same for both of you. Also, why does it sound like you're whispering in all of your lines? Are you using a mic that overmodulates easily?

I'm glad you like the jokes since writing is my favorite part of the show and I know exactly what you mean about my voices being to similar. Alas I wasn't blessed with the greatest voice acting talents in the world but thats why I made sure to always leave my doors open for auditions. And my mic is rather sensitive but I think I've gotten the hang of it recently.

the writing's pretty funny, good use of music and jokes. One thing I would suggest is maybe getting other people to do certain characters. It might help smooth along the editing process not having to do them all yourself, plus... some characters sound a little too forced, like umezawa for example

Thank you for your comments and I would love nothing more than having other people doing voices but I'm the only one of my friends who even likes anime let alone has seen Hajime No Ippo

Glad you enjoyed it, I'm thinking of re-voicing the opening scene. I don't think it turned out to well but I'll leave it as is for the moment.

@SXAbridged im on episode 21 now. im starting to believe there is a little spark of hope left. the main character dude just went Beserker mode and started a massacre xD

@SXAbridged i would if i find a other anime to watch from the romance genre. the problem is every good one i have allready seen. or isnt on the sites i use and i cant really watch plain fighting animes without romance anymore cause it feels like somethings missing then. the exception being hajime no ippo because the story the fights the training and the jokes are just too good to ignore :P and probably the fact that there are small hints of IppoXKumi.

@SXAbridged thats the big problem. i allready watched over 200 off them i cant find any decent ones anymore xD. also im on episode 10 now off eureka seven and Sir Puke Alot hasnt really impressed me yet so far. so i doubt he will anytime soon. his general lame-ness is pretty much the reason im considering searching for a new anime. i mean Lame isnt that bad it can be funny. but when a main characters entire screen time exists out of him making a joke off himself it gets annoying fast.

Ehhh... it does have romance, but not very good romance. Very juvenile in my opinion.

If you want a good romance anime, I'd look elsewhere. There are tons of much better ones. Of course, I can't help point you the way cause I don't watch romance anime. And perhaps one can argue that I don't like Eureka Seven cause of this. But I disagree. I can appreciate a good romance story. And even if it isn't my thing, I think my opinion that Eureka Seven is a poor romance story stands.

Oh my God. It's even worse than that. Cause the crying is a contagious disease, and pretty much the entire cast ends up catching it.
