Bass Cover - The Distillers - Young Girl

For some reason this sounds crappy, but it's all correct and everything. Maybe it's because I had to record with my crappy guitar amp, my good bass one is broken at the moment. But anyway, great song off my favourite Distillers album and so much fun to play on bass. But anyway, check it out.

It's a Yamaha TRB 1004.

and how it goes? is it a good bass for playing punk and metal?

Yeah, it's really good. It works fine for playing punk and rock stuff. I also used to use it at university to play jazz and motown sort of stuff, it also sounds good with that - obviously you have to fiddle a little with the tone balance to get the different sounds. I haven't really played any metal but it does sound good still when it's distorted and/or tuned down so I'd assume it'd play well.
