could foot bed cushioning be put in the bindings? Even though riding powder is most common on a split board, if i fit a rock or am riding hard pack i like a little cushion under my feet.

If you are referring to the Light Rail binding, yes we are working on a foam, adhesive backed pad, diecut to match the base plate plate cut outs. Should be available for purchase sometime next fall.
