@9antsa6 Read T"he Blitzkrieg Myth" by John Mosier and it discusses the theory of blitzkrieg (actually breakthrough) and strategic bombing. Although the Germans were credited with blitzkrieg, it was the quality of their soldiers and field leaders on the battlefield that was the difference. The Germans were correct in the design and deployment of their tanks. The Americans and Allies did not design nor deploy their tanks like the Germans explaining the fear from the Allies.

@gorillawalk2 you americans are most nationalism people i know. no offence, you are just so full of yourself...
-
@41soldat Well, STG's were produced almost half a million and they were produced only a year...
-
@9antsa6 Of course all of this is irrellevant, the war is over. And this sort of nationalism your are displaying here should have died with that war, unfortunately it did not.

@9antsa6 haha yes what a victory. From 1943 and on the Germans were usually outnumbered, like near the end of Stalingrad when the Soviets wen't on an offensive (Operation Uranus), they were out numbered 4 to 1, perhaps even more... The Battle of Kursk was catastrophic...50,000 casualties for the Germans and 133,000 for the Soviets. And the Gewehr 43 was not produced in wide numbers cause Hitler did not like it... sounds weird right? and the firing system was complicated,STG was not widely produc

@41soldat yeah... germans had G43 which was a german version of M1 garand and SVT-40. and germans also invented the first assault rifle if you didnt know that (STG44). and so what if sherman was meant for infantry support, because they still got into fight against german (awesome) tanks. and about i dont know about your "swift victories", germans had at normandy 5 times fewer troops than allies and you still lost a little bit more troops. what a "victory"!
-
@9antsa6 The Sherman was meant for infantry support, unlike the majority of German tanks that required support from infantry. The M1 Grand proved to be superior than the K98k. Get your fact right. The Americans also had swift victories on the Germans in France. Don't be ignorant.
@evilzarmy1 Oh bitch please... In WW1 The germans surrended when they saw their situation hopeless and you americans played a small part in there. In WW2 your troops at normandy faced only a 10%-15% of german army, the rest of it were at east. and your weapons... ahahhhahahaaaaa, the sherman was a tiny piece of shit compared to Tigers and panthers, The only better wehicle/gun was your planes. when ewer your troops saw something bigger/better than your own wehicles, you called the airforce...

@9antsa6 Agreed. The Finns fought with pride and dignity. That part of WWII and that story has not been told. On the otherside, the German Army was remarkable when you consider the position they placed themselves in. The stragetic and tactical errors made by Hilter during the war placed the German Army at risk. They fought on despite the odds. With what the German Army had to fight with towards the ends was indeed remarkable. My hat is off to the Finnish Army and the German Army.
