  • @averypack13 He knows about a lot more than blues, too. Last time I was in his store we talked Norman Connors.

  • @danswang I've worked with him for almost ten years. He's a great guy and high intelligent and spiritual.

  • @thelcster Yes, the same one that arranged "Wang Dang Doodle" for Koko Taylor and sang "Nona Baby" and "Talk that Talk" when he himself was a star in St. Louis. :-)

  • is this johnny "The Twist" Williams?

  • Go to his record store, it's a trip. But you won't find great bargains until you've become a regular. Then he might give you a break. A bit of a suspicious cat, but fun to talk to.

  • Yes, he is. He owns a record store on 64th and Cottage Grove in Chicago.

  • is this cat still alive

  • Why didn't he plug that V in?

  • Johnny Twist was a very good friend and mentor to me when I was in Chicago during most of the 90's. I worked in his Bluesville store off and on for years. Hell of a blues player and an all around nice guy and teacher. Thanks for the memories.

  • Welcome back bro , Now thats the blues
