Say what you will about the controversial changes in the all new STAR WARS Saga on Blu-ray, the most welcome change is that of replacing the lackluster Yoda puppet from Star Wars Episode I with the CGI Yoda that audiences know and love from Episodes II & III. Here we present a collection of Yoda's scenes from the film. The result is actually quite amazing.

  • I actually think cgi yoda in phantom menace is a big improvement. I never liked the yoda puppet in phantom menace, it just didnt look right to me. But please, please, tell me they aren't putting cgi yoda into empire strikes back and return of the Jedi. I really need to know he was unharmed in those two

  • @Tinkerbe11 The Puppets in the Original Trilogy are still there, where as the awful Episode 1 puppet is gone THANK THE MAKER OR SOMETHIN.

  • @loshia2002 I hope so too

  • 0:41, doesn't yoda still look like a puppet.

  • Much better, much MUCH better! Such a huge improvement that I almost hope that they do the same thing to Yoda in Empire and Jedi, Good one, George.

  • I am so glad they made a CGI yoda. It looks much better.

  • @DarthBuddy96 i dont think dooku knew about qui gons death until after he left the jedi temple

  • oh man why did they have do that yoda looked younger with a mustache

  • The only good change made. NOOOOOOOO

  • This actually looks a lot better. In fact, it is closer to the puppet Yoda seen in episode 5 and 6. I've always found the Yoda in the theatrical version to look weird compared to the five sequels. As long as they never replace him with a CGI version in 5 and 6, I'm fine with this.

  • I never realized how fake CGI Yoda looked until he was inserted into my Phantom Menace..

  • I like most of those blu-ray changes exept Darth Vader's "No,Nooooo!!!!!!!!" and Luke's lightsaber, which is very lame and awful.
