@LoonyRonPaul says the person with a screename like yours. I'll take your opinion with a grain of salt. The newsletters were during the time he was practicing medicine. Jesus.

@LoonyRonPaul Cenk Uyger is running for president? How have I not heard of this?
-
@sadkins1 Well he's running for president.

@SelaFatale "The newsletters with racial undertones span only a few years."
If you're supporting a presidential candidate who you believe published a newsletter without knowing what was in it for "only a few years" then you're as nutty as he is.

I support Ron Paul, not because of what he wants to do with social security, or medicare/medicaid, but simply because he knows that the war in the middle east violates the constitution and we need to bring our troops back home before we start WW3. every other candidate wants an invasion on other countries and supports this illegal war.
people like to refer to Ron Paul supporters as paul bots, because his supporters are the majority of America, you dont see ppl rallyng up for Romney or any1 else

@LSH20101 He doesn't want to get rid of SS. He wants to protect it by cutting elsewhere, then perhaps letting younger people opt out and save their own money.

@dealmeidaable ...Decades long? Wow, try and learn your facts. The newsletters with racial undertones span only a few years. They make up maybe 1% of his overall amount. And they were all written by James B Powell. Yes, they were under Ron Paul's newsletter, but he had a day job, and he's disavowed and disowned them. Moron.
Social Security has not added a penney to the debt. We pay half and employers pay half for seniors that don't have a zillion dollars to have food to eat. No one is protecting it from being stolen by Washington. The baby-boomers prepaid their social security when Greenspan raised the payroll taxes in 1983. Yet Ron Paul voted against withdrawing subsidies in the form of continued tax cuts for big oil.I know he's against taxes but roads, bridges and an electric grid are fairly important. So is SS.
