Yay! Good for you, American brother! I'm proud of you. You're setting a good example for other soldiers with your pioneer path.

Gmmonko, look up the Kurds and what had happened to them for year and years under the previous regime. Look at the chemical warfare that was used to exterminate them and the fact that the entire northern region (Kurdish homeland) was mined by Saddam. Millions of mines.... now look at what has happened there now that the US overthrew Saddam. Commerce, trade, no more genocide... It is morally conscious and saving thousands and thousands of lives. No WMD? No, but tones of mass graves from Saddam

@beaver7216 Finally an educated response that doesnt use vulgarity or slander this person. Thank you for being a positive contributor to this thread! To all you people who can't express yourself without vulgarity or demeaning a person for adhering to their beliefs - go join the military get your education and than once you have some real world knowledge and education - than you may comment.
Im so sick of everyone thinking their way of thinking is the only RIGHT way of thinking.

As a fellow soldier and Iraq War veteran - I respect this officer for his choice and fulfilling that which he believes is his duty. For all the nay-sayers and uneducated hoodlums ranting on this posting - get some values and if you yourself have never joined the military than see your way out of commenting.
I served as a 19D in Iraq in the city of Ar Ramadi, and I never agreed on the war, but I did as I had to. This officer did the same in his own way - RESPECT its an army value. Use it.

Our armed forces are unarguably the greatest military power in the world.
I did not support this particular war. But I know from first hand experience, this kind of action will not help the problem at all. You joined the united states armed forces, when your country calls opon you to do something, you do it regardless if you agree with it or not.
That took some balls Lieutenant...

LEAD FROM THE REAR I SEE!

your a waste of space. serving your country means to put your own views on hold for the american people. shoot yourself in the face, and free up some air for the real men out there.

Where were other JAP bastards like this after world war 2? You know, the ones who raped CHINA! Go back to socialist JAPAN.
We don't have time for politics. We are soldiers, we are officers, we follow orders, whether we support it or not. The End.

You suck dick you racist fuck. This gentleman, like the rest of us in the uniform, are proud to serve. If you want to make stupid comments like this, you had better not point yourself out... we don't like you. Remember this: WE... the proud members of the military let YOU have the freedom to be a cocksucking douche. Show some fucking respect.
