A tribute video To Lilac Crowned Amazon Parrots.

I made this video because my awesome family pet/parrot friend since at least the 1970's passed away tragically on July 11th, 2007. Her name was Apollo and she was mean, but she could be cute and funny sometimes. I miss her alot and I'm SOO sorry that she has died. :-( I would tell the story of how she died, but frankly it's too painful and heartbreaking to even think about. :-(

I had a lilac crown amazon for about 20 years and we had to put him down about 5 years ago. He was not a pet but a member of our family and to this day I miss him very much. Sorry for your loss.

It is sad when a pet bird dies. Even when they are being mean or screaming, they are still more like a friend than a pet.
