This synth is quite nice but it really has nothing to do with the D series synths, in fact it has a lot more in common with the U series synths, it even reads the same sound cards as the U series synths. It does read Wave cards specially made for it though which is nice. If you are expecting a D50 part 2, this is nothing at all like a D50, the D50 is better in many ways, but if you can find a D70 cheap, its great. I had one for 10 years.
