  • @Labyrnthdom Didn't you just say machine CODE? So that would make assembly the second lowest, right? :-)

  • Looking for strings is definitely a beginner step. However it is widely used for reversing games. As for nag screens in most cases when you see one the program has already determined the illegal operation/error then the nag is pushed. So by just bypassing the nag you really have done nothing but removed or jumped the APi for the message. This is a common mistake by beginners.

  • One of the lowest levels of code? What's another one? Assembly is the lowest, one step up from machine code.
