FOLLOW ME, is a movie of BoBac Emma's first weeks of going totally blind from primary closed angle glaucoma. Watch her take her first walk with Chaps.

Emma lost her first eye at age 2 and her second eye at age 3. Emma wants to educate the world about this insidious disease that basset hounds are pre-disposed to. We have started a blog category specifically related to this disease on our website. We hope to educate many lovers of basset hounds in an effort to do our part.

Emma is forging onward with the great spirit of a true hero. She gladly embraces her status as a role model. Our family and her friends are very proud of her. She plans to change the world, one paw step at a time. You go sweet girl. Emma Rudert, seeing with her heart and her nose! FOLLOW ME.......

  • Beautiful.. who sings that song?

  • @OneRedKansan41 It is on Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence Sound Track.

The soundtrack was composed by Kenji Kawai.[3] As he wrote in the liner notes, knowing the movie would inevitably be perceived as a sequel to its predecessor, he agreed with Mamoru Oshii that the soundtrack "would follow the direction of the music from the original film". Additionally, specific requests were made by Oshii for "a huge music box", a "jazzy theme", and a "reprise of the song Follow Me".

    Hope that helps

  • I wondered how Emma was doing... I think taking her to work with disabled children is brilliant. I work with developmentally disabled people...and have worked with physically disabled also. I hope you were able to follow that idea, Cat. I loved looking at her as a pup and love seeing her now.

  • Hi Jenny! I have not done that yet, but I fully intend to. I love your idea and I can see Emma helping many folks. I will keep you posted on that one. You do good work Jenny

    Love, Cat, Chaps and Emma

  • I loved your video but didn't realise that bassets were pre-disposed to glaucoma. We have 2 bassets. The 1st one was only 7 wks old when we got him. After all of his injections we started taking him out for walks but he was very reluctant, we thought he was just lazy - it turned out he had short ulnar syndrome. This is where one of the main bones in his leg grew faster than the other main bone consequently pushing his ankle joint out of socket. He had to have his leg broken (both of them)

  • OMG! I just saw this comment and I am so sorry. How is your basset doing now? Are you talking about Donald?

  • She is still beautiful and the basset nose is her strongest sense, anyway. Her nose will guide her.
