A few weeks ago i bought this slave flipflap clock.
In this video its driven by an Atmega16 on a STK500. On the breadboard (in the upper right area) is a H-bridge to create the impulses for the "AC-motor". As seen in the Video i still have problems figuring out the right timings for the flips.
Especially the flips and the clicks don't synchronize yet. From time to time it flips but it doesn't lock in and the other way round.

The clock is planned to be in my sleeping room so i want it to be quiet in the night, and when i get up it should fast-flipflap-forward to the current time - creating another alarm.

  • Where did you get the clock & can you make it actually tell time?
