the freedom tower is a bad name....if it were called silverstien tower would move out of NY....also the chicago spire will be taller and look better then the freedon tower.......can someone please explain to me why NYC is being soffocated

I agree. They could of called it "American Tower" or something.
They even proposed "Eagle Tower" at first. Sounds more patriotic than "Freedom"
I think Silverstein Tower is a great name. And I don't care if naming it after the owner of WTC is selfish.

Freedom Tower sounds so pathetic. I mean really what does that mean? Free to build something bigger and better? nothing like a bit of patriotism to smooth things over.
