  • @wagonburnt You're right! Never realized it until now.

  • Simply put, the most incredible and powerful ten minutes ever aired on broadcast television.

It STILL takes my breath away every time I watch it.

  • Totally mirrors Capt. Willard ...drunk in the hotel room, saigon, waiting for his next mission. Apocolypse Now!

  • It's hard to watch and surprisingly horrific to watch someone go insane, especially someone like lara who we've known in the show for a while.

  • Very Lovcraftian and also depictive of esoteric ascension. Maybe she really is moving stuff with her mind and influencing the outcomes of die rolls. There were a lot of cool ideas in this show but it looks to me like Carter wasn't really able to explore them while maintaining mass appeal and good ratings. He made compromises and changed plot elements midstream resulting in an incoherent mess. Sadly, this happens a lot with these sorts of shows. I would have liked to see his original vision.

  • @FractalBolt wow you missed lot. The Wire, Deadwood, Game of Thrones, Six Feet Under, Dexter, Sopranos, Carnivale, Firefly, Arrested Development, Archer, Justified, Mad Men.

Have you lived in a box? if anythin the 2000s are the best age of tv

  • one of the most classic scenes in an underapreciated show

Damn, I miss the 90's. We had such great shows back then. Th2 2000s haven't produced a big number of shows that had such an impact in my life as the 90's. With the exception of 24 and Breaking Bad, the 2000's have been very lackluster to me.

  • @brav0wing Thanks,I needed that.I understood to a certain extent but thanks for explanation in detail.

  • Many fans of the first season criticise the 2nd and the 3rd season. All I have to say is that they missed the point of this show! The show was not about serial killers, it was about the evil and the good in human beings. The first season was not only about serial killers. Towards the end we had episode like Lamentation and Powers, Principalities, Thrones and Dominions that treat pure evil and the battle between evil and good. Battle that is continued by Morgan and Wong in S2 in a brilliant way.

  • I miss MillenniuM. A sequel show or at least a movie should be made.
