RARE OLDIES SOUNDIES WITH MR NAT KING COLE & MISS IDA JAMES ! Nathaniel Adams Coles (March 17, 1919 February 15, 1965), known professionally as Nat King Cole, was an American musician who first came to prominence as a leading jazz pianist. Although an accomplished pianist, he owes most of his popular musical fame to his soft baritone voice, which he used to perform in big band and jazz genres. He was the first black American to host a television variety show and has maintained worldwide popularity over 40 years past his death; he is widely considered one of the most important musical personalities in United States history.

  • Was this before his voice got really sexy-deep?

  • Timeless tune but Oh dear! the whole piece is out of sync and couldnt stand it.

  • Oscar Moore

  • Who's swinging that guitar??

  • She does not look the way she sounds lmao

  • this is not Nat's voice

  • Ida James is so sweet i got diabetes just from lookin' at her...

    and then she started singing.

  • @MrJulesNapier

I don't think that it was the makeup that made him look older in films because in the book that I read about him, he was always told as a young teenager that he looked older than he was. And that was before he became famous.

  • i don't know if it was my computer or if it was the video, but the sounds wasn't quite on the same track as the picture..... drove me crazy the whole time! but this song is a timeless classic and i love it so much! :)

  • I was so surprised when I heard her voice :O amazing !!
