@MrKenneth1985 Not every bike is perfect for every use. Personally I've never done a 1000 mile ride, I doubt many people have. It's only 850 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats... I use my electric bike for all my transport except carrying the wife, kid and dog. Range is 50 miles and because it plugs in anywhere (I've never been refused a charge and never been allowed to pay) I can ride out 50 miles, have lunch and ride home. All I need but this bike goes three times as far

way too quiet, a superbike with cruiser speed? don't like it

@gasdive Let's do a 1,000 mile trip and see who has to stop and refuel more and who makes it to the end faster. takes my petrol 1 min to fill up and im good for another 150 miles or so. highly doubt that bike can charge that fast and what building do you know would let you charge that kind of machine at ?

@dinkoman It wheelies just fine

@arghone yes it can

@thirteenfingers The chemicals in my bike are not nasty. I ride a 2010 Zero DS and the battery is completely non toxic. The noise to the front of a petrol bike is mostly the tyres and the sound of the bike cutting the air. The electric is much the same, so the "loud pipes" argument doesn't apply. The cut off button is mandated by racing.

@SicSeb It takes the bike longer to fill up but unlike a petrol bike, you don't have to be there to do it. Just plug in and walk away, 10 seconds of your time. Just think of your mobile phone. Would you think it was "quicker" to fill if you had to take it to a shop to fill it or just plug in while you sleep? Same thing.

@RTiger18 It charges from any wall outlet. So you probably have a refuelling station in your garage. It's not automatic, it's a single gear so it's always in the right gear. The experience is *nothing* like an automatic.

@fastone32 Gas is cheap but servicing is not. No filters, no oil, no cams or valves. Much cheaper to run.
Yeah but will it blend?
