Why not plug it directly in, stupid.

@dirtyoscs I'd rather have a Polymoog than a DX 1, 5 or 7, Personally I think the DX range was the most user unfriendly synth ever, dont get me wrong I love some of the eerie noises you can make with FM (and PD), but it has its own definate timbre of sound that is easy to identify, I like analogues as you cant distinguish the sounds as to one instrument timbre plus its what I grew up with in the 70's and early 80's, I'm happy with digital control as long as the audio signal path is 100% analogue

@gordongate - you know, someone posts a stupid comment like "heap of shit, get a Moog" which in my opinion is the most idiotic subjective generalizing bullshit ever - especially when you consider that Moog didn't just make one model. hence the reason for my sarcasm.
i will tell you though - i would rather own a Yamaha DX-1 then a Moog Polymoog. so there...
-
@gordongate - wow, you've never heard of sarcasm before??

@dirtyoscs What on earth is that random nonsense, there isnt a digital synth in existence that sounds as rich as an analogue synth, thats why the price for analogue gear is higher.
Digital synths have their own particular sounds just as FM synths and phase distortion synths have as well. Horses for courses. Would you turn down a Roland TB303 because its full of resistors, transistors, diodes and capacitors on a chunky paxolin one sided PCB instead of ropey samples held on a rom chip?

@dirtyoscs Moogs are shit? Hahaha.
-
@coldhandmurr - how does that work? you set the LFO to modulate the pitch and somehow that modulates the PW? confused...
-
@alanpitfall - different Moogs don't even sound alike. it would be impossible to create an environment that completely lacked variety.
-
@DemonWTF - i have yet to find a decent demo of this synth online...
-
@Ahbootsybaby - no way, Moogs are shit because they use old outdated technology. you would be better off getting a nice digital synth like a Roland D-10 because you get a wider range of sounds.
Can We Hear it played ?
The demo's on the Vermona's site are sequenced too and I'm just not getting a feel for it like that at all .

wouldn't it be sad if every synth sounded like a moog. Variety is the spice of life.
