I had to film this for a monologue project in college, this is based on my high school play. I played an old blind writer who sits in a circle of light in a dark library asking why he doesn't just sit in the dark, why a raven is like a desk and what is the nature of labyrinths. Then he is visited by a young girl who may or may not be a character in a story that he is writing and he thinks he is also in it. She brings a knife from the labyrinth of mirrors and puts it on his table. Someone is going to die in this unusual play about art, time and the relationship between fiction and flesh.
