http://www.ted.com Hans Rosling unveils new data visuals that untangle the complex risk factors of one of the world's deadliest (and most misunderstood) diseases: HIV. He argues that preventing transmissions -- not drug treatments -- is the key to ending the epidemic.

  • @Turbosvans By definition inflation is the expansion of a money supply. Imagine an economy had $10 in it then suddenly $10 was added to bring the total to $20. Since natural resources and productivity don't double the value of the money goes down, but it is ok because there is more money in the economy to support higher prices. Now you must ask who received the additional $10 first?

  • are these HIV and populaton data real? can you confim this?

  • @asdrubalamv I may very well be wrong here, but doesn't that issue disappear when he uses USD as the currency for all countries? Isnt inflation something that is connected to a certain currency so if you decide to convert every currency into the same one the issue with inflation disappears? I am no economics expert, far from it, so please correct me if I'm incorrect.
