Basin Snowboard Review: Softer than the SL-R, and it's perfectly twin shape make the EVO-R a great choice for the park focused rider. R.C. tech makes presses and butters effortless, without giving up powerful ollies. All in all, an extremely fun durable board for the park rats out there.

  • i was deciding between the evo-r and the circuit-r, could you guys put a review up?

  • wakelax ... As the Circut-r is NS's base model, it is not a board we carry. The upgrade in materials on the Evo is well worth the $100 price difference. It has all the legendary qualities that NS is know for, the addition of Carbon for extra pop and edgehold, sintered sidewalls and all the goodies!!!

    Cheers!!!!

    Vin

  • Basinsport, Im going into my second year. Want to hit some park, but would like to take it all over the mountain. Well I live in the Midwest so they are more like big hills. Yay or Nay on this board for me?

  • The Evo-R would work perfect as a small mountain, all mountain board. The flex is soft enough to keep it super fun for playing around, however it is still fairly stable at speed when you get to open it up. If you would like something a little better at higher speeds and playing around, the Never Summer SL-R would do the trick!

  • Just picked up an 09 evo-r can't wait to hit the oak this weekend with it

  • Sweet. Let us know how it goes.
