Freedom Dream

Rejyna @ Espresso Yourself Music Cafe performs an excerpt from her story song 'Nepthon/Astai' which she wrote for her band Citadel. This excerpt is titled "Freedom Dream" from her live solo CD "Solo Sojourn" [www.cdbaby.com/cd/rejyna]. Rejyna uses her DigiTech Vocalist Live Pro and JamMan Solo looper to spice up the 'solo' rendition. The lyrics speak of escape from restrictive bonds, from the gates, the walls, and the stagnation of feeling trapped - but they also speak of how gaining one's personal freedom can sometimes carry the cost of losing someone you care about because they don't thirst for the dream or desire to escape like you do.
