I've seen the Veil (only the broom part) through a 14" inch newtonian dob telescope, using oxygen filter, and I really was astonished. I knew it was big, but not THAT big as Hubble revealed!! Great video!
I recommend to all of you folks that like these stuff to get a book ("Nightwatch" by Terence Dickinson is a great start) and if you are so priviledged to live or be close to dark skies, away from city lights, go for it and get a telescope.
They've become cheap these days ;)

Scientists are not trying to prove religions wrong. They are simply searching for the truth by using everything visible to them which means evidence. If the universe was created by God, scientists are on the search to learn about his creation. If the universe is a reflection of its creator, scientists conducting a very thorough study of God. When religious groups turn away from scientific evidence, they close their eyes to God by closing their eyes to part of his creation.
