Milan Lucic Honored By The Vancouver Giants

The Bruins' four-day stop in Vancouver brought more than just a huge win over the NHL-leading Canucks. The trip also was also a special homecoming for Bruins forward Milan Lucic.

In the midst of the Bruins' six-game winning streak, Lucic was honored at the Pacific Coliseum, where he played junior hockey for two-plus years with the Vancouver Giants.

Lucic was inducted into the Giants' Ring of Honor on the night before the matchup against the Canucks, and the special ceremony gave him a boost of good luck, as he scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in the B's victory.

@BieksaRaymondCanucks that is what I have been trying to tell everybody about the nucks fans. that after all the shit in the cup finals that vancouver still liked lucic. they cheered him on when he lifted the cup.nucks fans are the nicest I have come across. people say "well they riot". well those arnt real hockey fans anyway. if lucic where to play for the canucks I would support that 100%. I love that kid. his performance these playoffs wernt to good but I still love to have him on the team.

@XxDaNiiiMaLxX i think all fans who vote for canadiens teams take it to personal at times. my best friend is a habs fans. i admire that in him but he wont accept defeat sometimes and wont riot lol.i would hate to see lucic go but if he signed with the nucks i would be happy for him. . the green men are just there to get people to laugh.i find them funny most of the time but annoying sometimes. its like "your allmost out of college" and your doing this? wtf?

@bruinsfan1234 minus the green men, they can get too personal, and your right, i have 100% respect for the vancouver fans who cheered for lucic, people who rioted, 0%. But your right, if there was a team i could stand lucic playing for itd be the Canucks. Id still hate to see him go tho :)
