Right. Law enforcement, if you must shut it down, then just show up, make your announcement (and try to project as little cop-tude as possible), and don't arrest anybody who isn't actually causing trouble.
And to the ravers: if you get shut down, just leave. Maybe offer to come back and clean up. Always clean up if you can. It confounds stereotypes, wins friends among the persuadable, and drives the haters nucking futs!

love the fact the police actually admit that everyone is friendly to the police until the police try to shut down the party...... lesson.... dont try and shut it down forcefully.

I mean I'm sure the littering done at these events is absolutely atrocious and most likely makes a beautiful patch of undeveloped land look like a shithole.

i do think it's a little fucked up to trash out people's property. the drug usage is 100% fine with me lol, but destroying people's land is a little uncool in my idea. PLUR extends, I think, beyond the rave scene.
