Trooping the Colour

At the Queen's Birthday Parade in the Spring of each year, the colour is ceremoniously trooped through the ranks of the assembled Foot Guard unit. But first the band must complete the famous "spin wheel" to change its direction of march. The funny thing is that I have watched the trooping of the colour for five years now and the "commentators" always say the same things and ask the same questions and the cameras are in the same places doing the same things every year!

It's the commentators that spoil this parade every year, do we need them, because they are there they think they are obliged to be verbal. When I have attended this parade I don't have someody sitting next to me "giving out the verbal". Can't we just sit and watch and take in the whole experiance without this "chatter" getting in the way.

I have to admit, the spinning maneuver by the band looks disorganized compared to the precision of the rest. It would be great to have an overhead view.
