As the world turns into a smaller place we now might be able to better understand the young people and their way of life. Young in 60 cities is a cultural project that offers an opportunity to maybe find the answers on the questions that surround teenagers and youth in general.
Are teenagers concerned with what others think of them and can fashion be seen as one of the main tools of expressing their identity and to satisfy their need for acknowledgment and appreciation? Is fashion a tool for peace building?
Are teenagers influenced by their parents, TV, culture, music, environment, ras and religion? How about the fashion consciousness among teenagers throughout the world and do significant differences exist between Asian teens and their European, US, African, South American and African counterparts? Do teens in developed countries and less developed countries show similarities in their attitudes toward fashion? Do young adults actively create and authenticate new special and unique fashion styles?
