N3N Crosswind landing at Deer Park airport, plane skids on the runway a little, but I'd say pilot saved the airplane he did a very good job. This is part 2 video out of 9 for the spot landing competition.

Been there. Done that. Deer Park can get some good X-winds! Great video and flying. When was the comp? I didn't know about it.

Good recovery!! The N3N can be a hand-full especially 3 pointing in a cross wind on asphalt.

No offense but the pilot wouldn't have had to work so hard saving the airplanes if he had even used a small bit of crosswind correction. The windsock showed the wind from the right at about 10knts and he touched down on the left wheel. I currently fly a N3N and have several hundred hours in them.

@matthiashaenni ow yeah, he had nearly exclusive images of the crash of a N3N!!! ;-) but still nice vid because he can spot this from so close by the runway!!!
