@bjd1020 I just lost this month my "Bonnie Lass" she was only 5 years old, she was my feet warmer in the Canadian winters, my shadow, my friend and I am so lost at the moment. She loved cheese as well and tried very hard at times to open the wrapper quietly, but she would soon be at my feet. She had an agressive lymphoma tumor on her intestine, the vet was going in to do a biopsy of the liver, as she was all swollen. The cancer had spread. They say it is due to inbreeding.

@Matthews2311 So Sorry to hear about Bonnie. Im sure she was a wonderful dog. I have owned a lot of dogs and I can tell you, and I know every dog owner will tell you this about their dog, but Belle is one of the smartest and relaxing dogs you have ever met. I searched for a year before I found a breeder outside of Richmond VA, her parents are working dogs (gound hog hunters) on a farm and she is not really a breeder.

@Matthews2311 Belle's temperment is so exceptional that we will be breeding her one time this spring. If you send me your email I could send you some pictures as well as the info for the lady we got her from. Like I said shes not a breeder but does breed a litter every couple of years, and maybe if your still looking in the spring we might have a pup for you.

@Matthews2311 Talking about the bathtub and how they hate it, just so happens today I gave her a hair cut and bath tub, so I made a little video of how she hates it. This is probably familiar to you as Im sure Bonnie had the same reaction when she new she was getting one. Check it on my channel its Belle Bathtub vs Kitty Cat.

@bjd1020 Keep enjoying Belle, she is lovely, my Bonnie did a few tricks as well and seemed to know when it was bath time and hide under the bed. Where did you get Belle?

@bjd1020 I will get another Scottie when I get my vet bill paid:( and will look for a breeder that has a larger gene pool, good breeders will get others dogs from other countries to mate. And will probably get a yearly blood test as with this cancer she was gone in two weeks after the first symptoms. Looking back, she had put on weight, and would wake me up at 3 in the mornig to go out and eat grass, dogs do eat grass but she was eating it like a cow, she was trying to cure herself.
