A truely and rare magical moment when this very young elephant bravely comes to investigate us in our open landcruiser in Mana Pools Zimbabwe. Mom soon gives out a low rumble sending him running back. Nic Polinakis, an amazing professional guide and friend has never seen anything like this in his lifetime of guiding.

OH NO!!! We weren't even allowed to reach out or move when it came. Believe me, we wanted to let it smell our hand soo bad, but if we had done anything, mom may have took it as a threat and charged us. Nic, our guide grew up in Zimbabwe and been guiding his entire life and has never seen this happen.
