Michael Jackson 'Was A Special Guy' : Donald Trump

Donald Trump talks to ET about the loss of his good friend Michael Jackson, and the singer's plans for a comeback. Jackson died suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday afternoon. June 25th 2009.

"I knew Michael very well," The Donald says. "He was a special guy. He was with me many times. So many unbelievable weekends took place with Michael, especially in Palm Beach, Florida."

"He was all excited about his comeback, he adds. "It didn't take place until next July and it was sold out, he was telling me it sold out everywhere."

In addition to his music, Trump says M.J. was always there to lend a helping hand. "Michael did a lot for charity and if I ever needed him...he'd always be there."

@VMARIE20 Partially, but I think Obama was doing as Oprah does, playing politics. Michael Jackson made a tremendous contribution to this world and you don't have to know him personally to know that. I empathize with the ticklish position that Obama is in (damned whatever he does) but were I a black person in high position such as Obama's or Oprah's I would ensure I give credit where due to other blacks who have risen beyond their circumstances to conquer what only other of all races dream of.
