  • just wondering. what was the 3rd plug on the hard drive that you didn't plug anything into (5:50 ish)? and why didn't you put anything into it? im building a rig soon and want to learn as much as possible before hand :D

  • @MrPhxkinMassacre I think you mean the jumper pins. When hard drives were IDE you used to have to set the jumpers buy moving a metal contact to any two of the pins to set the master/slave etc. But with SATA you do not need to bother with jumpers. Good luck with the build ;-)
