I am very confused as to the long term benefit of this approach. save a patient a 1000 dollars only to charge 3000 in a one or two years?

@svally69 Thank you for your comments. The bridge has a history of coming loose. At other times, it was the anterior abutment that came loose and I successfully tapped off the bridge and recemented it with Panavia resin cement. Patient did not want ideal treatment at this time which would of included an implant supported fixed bridge. GC

It varies among offices. This proceedure includes a post and core and the fee ranges from $350-$550 USD. GC

No rubber dam and NaOCL irrigation????!

@miraamshah Thanks for commenting. A rubber dam is the answer to total isolation issues. I will consider using it on my next case. Are you using NaOCL with all of your build up cases?

first of all great job. But I have to say I always use a rubber dam during van root canal treatment and I find it much relaxing and easier to work with, also more patient friendly. I use NaOCL a lot during a root canal treatment,. But on the other side NaOCL has got a negative influence on bonding of dentin.

if the bridge is loose it means that either the tooth structure is broken underneath, or the cement washed out, or the retention on the abutment is poor. neither of these things are addressed or evaluated without taking the bridge off and evaluating the substructure and the reason for failure. the retention of the bridge does not depend on the post or the core material you put in.

how are you addressing the problem of the loose bridge? if the bridge is loose, there is a reason for it. how are you addressing the marginal leakage problem. did you take the bridge off to find out why it is loose?
