Candice Jacobs

Candice Jacobs is a conceptual artist, curator and one of the founders and directors of Moot, an artist-led gallery space in Nottingham. She has also helped establish arts collective Stand Assembly, and is currently setting up a studio complex that will house both Moot and the Stand Assembly in a warehouse in Nottingham.

Jacobs was recently selected by Michael Bracewell and Linder for the Studio Voltaire Annual Members Exhibition in London last month and will be featured as one of the top 50 upcoming artists in Future 50 at Project Space Leeds in November.

Forthcoming exhibitions include Automatic, curated by Gavin Murphy and Chris Fite-Wassilak, at Pallas Projects, Dublin, touring to London in September 2009.
