  • Hi, I'm planning on buying this amp 2ndhand, but i have a question. How does the amp sound on bedroomvolume? Can you get a great metaltone out of it without blowing off your ears and making the neightbours move? Or does the amp need to be on a high volume to sound at it's best? Think metallica, parkway drive, bfmv, kse, hatebreed,....

  • @murderofline2 wmy eell, it sounds decent on bedroom levels but I actually preferred the sound of much cheaper amps (the so called bedroom amps :D ) for bedroom levels, so if bedroom playing is your primary concern, I wouldn't actually recommend it. It does sound OK I guess, but not so great. While I generally really liked this amp, the Caliber .50+ and Studio .22+ were much better sounding to my ears and much more versatile, and also sounded better on bedroom levels.

  • That sounds amazing........my F-50 is coming this week...but now I want a Les Paul. I don't know if my Schecter and EMGs can sound that good. So what were the settings?

  • Sorry, don't remember the settings, I don't have this amp anymore

  • Is this with a boost?

  • no boost, straight to amp.

  • PLEASE HELP ME. How do you have your amp set? I really need your help.

  • thanks 9 months later haha

  • @peaveypower212 :

Yes it is. I have it. Couple it with an MXR 10 band eq and an understanding of the knobs and you get very clean and heavy sounds.

  • I use EMG's in a washburn and they react pretty well to my F-100.

  • Then where is it coming from?
