It appears that the MSM are very well aware of the intelligence of most viewers and have therefore moved from providing real, in depth news to short sound-bites or diatribes from news entertainers holding strong right or left opinions. If the public wanted to really educated themselves on serious issues we would see stations like CSPAN, BBC World News and PBS with the highest viewership ratings. We don't see this. Corporate television will give people what they want, which is not real education.

Bill Clinton authorized missile attacks in foreign countries directed at Bin Laden, and he authorized missiles to be launched in Iraq in 98 when they kicked out UN inspectors, ya'll don't ever compare hin to Bush, and Obama said in the campaign trail he would add troops to Afghanistan, he didn't add a single troop to Iraq and the troops are coming home for good in late 2011(from Iraq), also no terror attacks under Obama and "the underwear bomber" and "times square bomber" are in civilian jails.

Hewitt was right, hard to see how they didn't get his point. He was not attacking him because he was a lefty, he was attacking Ed because Ed lacks the qualities of a good public spokesperson for his ideology.  Prager, Medved, Hewitt, Hitchens, Rose, and many other commentators deserve to be taken seriously and others less so. Hannity and Rush do not have my total respect, but they are not hate mongers like Schultz and Olbermann.
