I agree with Dave Stewart-I don't think he meant it the way white people r taking it-Ricky asked Brock was it ok & Brock said it was-Mark McGuire got in front of the camera & forcefully said I'M PROUD OF MY SELF! After breaking season hr record even though he later admitted to using steroids-No one accused him 4 being arrogant but when a black player does the same he's branded as a bad person-this same thing happened to Aaron.

you managed somehow to forget that Rickey was #1 in runs (more than Hank Aaron, Stan Musial or anyone else), won the golden glove, and won an MVP. As for "modest power", he is 136 all time in home runs. "Top 20 in speed"? He stole by far more bases than anyone else in history. This is not a track team.
