http://www.ProFirstAid.com Heat Exhaustion is when the body temperature rises and you become dizzy or sweaty. It is important to move to a cooler place, sip water, and cool down gently maybe with a fan have them rest. Heat Stroke is a serious medical condition. The body temperature rises very rapidly and you must get help immediately. The temperature of the body cannot be controlled. They must rapidly be cooled down with wet towels or a spray mist. They could go into Cardiac Arrest. More common emergencies are Hypothermia. Never quickly heat the person. Use normal blankets or foil type blankets. Foil blankets reflect heat back into the body and acts as a barrier. Frost Nip happens when the skin begins to freeze and must be kept warm.
