Bike The Dust 19 - Mountain Bike Race in La Union

San Fernando City in La Union, Philippines in cooperation with the Fun Cycling Club (FCC) hosted its 19th edition of Bike The Dust series (dubbed as Mayor Pablo C. Ortega Cup 2010) during the celebration of city fiesta last February 6, 2010. Almost 200 riders from all over the region participated in this mountain bike race that featured technical routes, steep terrain, rain gutters, dirt trails and breathtaking scenic views of the city and San Fernando Bay. In this video, Mayor Ortega announced his big plans for the 25th (Silver) anniversary of FCC and Bike The Dust. Congratulations and Mabuhay to all BTD19 winners!. See you again next year.

Where's the dirt bros? I remember I use to ride dirt trails in Sta. Rosa with my ridemates. An almost 30 kilometers of trail with no rest. Patayan talaga ang ride dati hehehe walang arte-arte, padungisan talaga. Masmaganda nga naman tignan ang mountain bike kung masmadumi di ba? Riding it for its purpose. Matira matibay ganyan kami dati.eheh hindi nga nagtatagal ang xt rear derailleur namin eh..haha! "Ride it extremely, ride it with fun"..sabi nga namin dati. Anyways, I miss riding!
