  • No, this wasn't my creation but Native Watercrafts. You control the rudder with a hand lever mounted to the gunnel. Most touring boats can be paddled faster than 3.8 mph but compared to other recreational boats this is fairly good.

  • how fast can that things go ??

  • If you really crank on it around 5.5-6 mph. I found the most efficient combination between hull design and effort to be 3.8 mph.

  • did you come up with that? Its so cool to see someone follow though with an idea.

    how do you rudder again?

so good for moving around and fishing at the same time.

The 'good' speed you indicate is somewhat slower than using a paddle however, since the walking speed is around 3.5 and when I am at my typical cruising speed using a paddle I am going faster than people walking on the beach so I guess I am doing at least 4mph without 'pushing' it.

  • how much and where to get from

  • great job
