This game had Painkiller AND Electric Eye by Judas Priest as in-game soundtracks....how could it not be win? Damn it now I wanna go crazy to some thrash metal.

@Fallawe56 Come on dude, sequels don't suck. They are almost always better. Check the likes of Ucharted 2, Arkham City, ACreed II, and so many more.
I for one would love Brütal Legend 2. I mean seriously the soundtracks in the game were some of my fave songs to date. I'm a huge Action adventure fan but this game seemed kinda childish to me at first, but then I see the soundtrack lineup and the headbanger in me just said YOU WANT THIS GAME NO MATTER WHAT!

Let's look at it this way, people. EA had a GREAT game on their hands, but marketed it wrong.
...As per usual.
So the only way to make a sequel work would be to A) play up the RTS angle in the commercials, (Not that hard... Just say something like, "He must command the armies of Metal... To save the world!") and MAYBE expand on the whole Music = Magic angle.
Imagine if you used Techno for the same effect. Daft Punk?
Or maybe Rap. Or hell, even JRock! Row, row, fight the powah!
