I don't question what you saw on you visit to Guyana, however it would be wise to educate yourself a smudge better on the political and ecomical history of Guyana and its' relationship(s) with outside countries.

@BabiiGyal4lyfe i totally agree with you. there is a lot of talent and potential in guyana. however, the typical guyanese mentality is anything from outside is better. no wonder the economy can't see significant growth. i visited this past summer; from smokes to alcohol, imports are chosen over domestic. i even saw flippin' grace coconut water from toronto in the supermarket of a country with an abudance of coconuts and tropical fruit. WHAT A JOKE. guyana needs to wake the bleep up.

The reason we are behind the other islands in coustume is because they are richer and they have businesses that would showcase their business, the money that was made for carifesta is not for mash its for the country bro, i mean i get what you are saying but its going to take a long time for guyana to be on the same level as the island in both carnival and tourism. but when it come to leading caricom and having the most natural resoures Guyana is ahead hands down, Guyana would soon be # 1 again
