Chicago fire apparatus parade held near the CFD Fire Academy on Aug. 19, 1997. All sorts of great looking rigs, plus some beautifully restored pieces. Even a little footage of the old Chicago Water Tower.

FIRST TIME I HAVE SEEN THIS IN CHICAGO AND I GREW UP HERE IM 43 AND A RETIRED AUX POLICE ...LOVE THE TRUCKS, THE CLOSEST THING I HAVE SEEN TO THIS WAS 4TH OF JULY IN NORTHERN SUBURBS AND CHI , EMERGENCY VEHICLE SHOW. If anyone is interested in seeing antique fire apparatus, the Fire Buffs of Illinois & the 5-11 Club are having their annual muster @ the Chicago Fire Academy, June 18, 2011 starting about 8 am til about 3 pm. Thanks for posting this video. It is great to see old friends & beautiful apparatus. We are trying to have a parade again this year. It's always a lot of fun for everyone.

Does anyone know who made the wig-wag light on the nose of the red/white ALF 700 that begins @ 3:30? I've only seen a few of those lights and I've never been able to find out what they were called.
