place the frost wine bottle in the star door key hole because it also has an 8 pointed star on it.

- the plant from the cemetery can be thrown into the water in the cave. since it reacts to it, maybe it will grow underwater trapping the piranhas in some kind of ramification in order enable a safe inspection of the bottom... depends a lot on their size...
- the frost wine bottle can be the solution to the star door...
- the image with the child holding the kaleidoscope probably holds some kind of secret, it should be properly inspected...
by the way, cool adventure ;D

I don't know if it's different in 4th edition (as I've never played it) but Tenser's disc is designed to follow the caster, and has a fairly small holding capacity (100+ lbs). If it is used to carry you, you would have to move it some other way. Maybe using the glaive as a guide pole or an oar while over the water. There is also the difficulty of balancing on a 3' wide disc over a pool of piranha, while rowing over the water. Just food for thought.

Wow, the plot really advanced in this new chapter and some new puzzling items came up. Well, can I make any check that might give me a hint on what the different objects in the mirror means? And I think that's a younger me in the mirrors. That's got to mean something I can relate to!

The dragon statue seems to react to any visible object in the room, why not have the Apprentice cast the unseen servant ritual, to see if an invisible creature can enter the room. It could retreive the pyramidal object on the pedastal, and may be strong enough to move the warrior's statue as well.
The Apprentice also took the glaive from the suit of armor in the entry hall, is it long enough to reach the far side of the waterfall pool?

Yeah, there's something up with that plant. I agree that watering it more or at least inspecting it could help with something.
-
I totally agree with the Tenser's Floating Disk idea.

While inspecting the well, he found a hole in the wall with a sound of falling water coming from it. Luucia might have found the other end of that passage.
An inspection of the mirrors, especially the one depicting the boy with the kaliediscope, would be in order. Maybe try to look inside the kaliediscope?
The word Elpern might be a verbal key to the star door.
Take the spindly plant to the waterfall room and put it in the pool. Maybe it will form a bridge.

Okay, I think I figured out the waterfall room. In the library there was a scroll for the Tenser's Floating Disc spell, using that would totally bring me to the other side. I really don't know what to do with the frost wine, but the star on it reminds me of the star door... it MUST have something to do with it. Maybe casting a frost spell on the door with open it? And I'd inspect the kaleidoscope mirror and see if I can interact with it.
I try to detect a magical effect on the mirror with the boy holding a kaleidoscope. Maybe it's just an illusion. Or maybe the mirror holds something behind it? I knock on the glass to try to figure it out...
"Frost wine"... It is valuable? Does it seem to have any magical properties?
(question for esper)
Can powers such as "icy terrain" be used outside of combat or not? Also, I'd like to know what software you are using to create your own music. Thanks!

@sk8eradu I make it on Garageband (where I record my audio). I just use my computer keyboard to play the notes, along with effects when necessary.
